sample text

Make sure you know your local finance officer and work closely with them on the management of your budget and the financial reporting required.
Your project account number will be provided to you in an account code letter generated by Corporate Finance Research and/or the Research Grants Administration and Funding Office (for ARC, NHMRC, and University of Sydney grants).

Account numbers always comprise a project code and a responsibility centre.

Project Code: This single alpha and  4-digit numeric code identifies the source and category of research funding. For example ARC awards have a project code commencing with ‘A’, NHMRC commence with ‘N’, University of Sydney ‘U’, other research grants ‘R’, research donations ‘D1’, research bequests ‘B3’.
Responsibility Centre: This alpha (x1) numeric (x4) code designates the faculty of the first-named researcher. Each faculty has a responsibility centre starting with a different number.
